(More customer reviews)I recently purchased the Top-Flite XL (2010) golf set. I've never owned my own golf set, and I used to go to the driving range and borrow a friend's clubs or borrow clubs from the range. When I finally decided to start playing golf regularly, I was choosing between getting a few (3 wood, 4 iron, 6 iron, 8 iron, wedge, putter) used name-brand clubs from [...] or get a starter set. Overall the price was about the same, so I decided to go for this set here since it has more clubs and the bag. I have not regretted this decision at all--this is a great beginners set! My consistency has dramatically improved; I'm not sure if I was just using clubs that were the wrong size, or if this set is more forgiving, but with the irons in this set I'm hitting the ball much better. The hybrids are great too, much easier than the low irons. The bag is more than adequate and has lots of room. If you're just learning golf or have taken lessons and are trying to become more consistent, look no further.
